Turf Summary
1. MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR HIGH COST INPUTS.
Bacteria in soil convert nutrients like nitrogen into nitrite, nitrate and ammonium to make them ‘plant available’. Bacteria and turf have a symbiotic relationship that is critical to turf health, growth, nutrition profile, pathogen defence.
Unfortunately up to 60% of fertiliser inputs can be lost through evaporation and run off. The amount of fertiliser that simply disappears is always worse in soil that is lacking key bacteria. Our complete soil bacteria program can help reduce run off by dosing your soil with bacteria that can quickly colonise the roots and soil and convert NPK inputs fast.
2. INSURANCE POLICY.
With bacteria being responsible for up to 90% of what your turf needs, you can think of the Bactivate program as an insurance policy to make the most of your high cost inputs.
If you are having to use more fertiliser each year, or are getting disease across turf that is a good indicator you have an issue with your soil bacteria.
3. REDUCE DISEASE PRESSURE.
We will let a customer do the talking on this one:
“Over the last year we’ve saved $12k on chemical sprays as we have no disease
pressure or outbreaks. We haven’t used a fungicide in 18 months and the bottles purchased 18 months ago are now out of date!”
Mark Ryan – Supervisor, Yamba Golf Club
When you restore the balance to your micro-bacteria they do the work for you by inducing systemic resistance and releasing polyketides, peptides and toxins that fight various off pathogens and disease.
Moreover, just like healthier humans, healthier grass full of nutrients, is naturally more resilient to disease.
4. REDUCE OR ELIMINATE CHEMICAL SPRAYS.
Less disease pressure mean less work, and less chemical inputs, which is good for everyone.
Whether you are an employee, a council, or a business owner, working on ways to eliminate potential liability around sprays over time is just sensible OH&S strategy.
5. GO ORGANIC FOR A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE?
There is increasing pressure to use less chemical sprays in public spaces and Bactivate can be part of the transition. Just get in touch and speak to one of the team about our transition plan.
Certified by NASAA, the bacteria and key products of Bactivate are organic giving you peace of mind around OH&S.
8. KNOW IT’S WORKING.
We don’t just sell you something and run.
Our distributor Agronomists will lead you through soil testing, before and after, to show the impact on your soil. They can give you proof of impact so you can make better, evidenced based, decisions for the future of the next generation.
